My opinion for a while has been that cheating in football recruiting isn't nearly as rampant as people think. People act like the average top 100 recruits are all getting 100k and don't even blink at that number. And the top guys (or top qbs, OL,DL) are getting 200.
I think this latest basketball probe news helps prove that. If everyone agrees college basketball is the dirtiest, but Kyle Lowry gets 6k, nerlens Noel gets 4k, markelle fultz gets 10k, I don't see how that translates to football players get 10-20 times that amount
