Most of us know the background of why uat killed UAB's football program, but I am shocked at how sloppy they were. It really is a case study on how not to make a controversial decision.
I would be curious as to what the more politicaly astute members of the bunker think about the end game. How does this play out in the end? Does UAB get football back? Does UAB split from UAT? What role will the legislature take?
i still think the board throws Watts overboard to lessen the blowback unless he has some real dirt to use as protection. Even then the severance package has an extra zero in it.
