1. Federal Court in Texas declares ATF's pistol brace rule to be unconstitutional. By entering an order to VACATE the rule, that order applies nationwide under the APA.

However, I suspect an appellate court will STAY that vacate order at some point soon. But today's decision in Mock v. Garland is a big win for 2A.

2. A 6-3 Supreme Court rulings threw out a Trump-era ban on bump stocks, finding on Friday that the Justice Department exceeded its authority by classifying the device, which modifies a semiautomatic weapon to fire with the speed and lethality of military arms like the M16, as a machine gun.

Friday’s opinion found the government went too far, stretching the definition of machine gun Congress established in the 1930s.

Opinion: I know a lot of people hate this ruling but it is a legally correct ruling and it was always just a matter of time until it was stuck down as unconstitutional

Opinion: The pistol brace rule will eventually make its way to the Supreme Court and will also be found unconstitutional.
