This is an astounding betrayal of everything our country has stood for as a member of NATO and a bulwark against Russian aggression. Ronald Reagan would be disgusted.
In addition to how insane it is to encourage Russia to attack our allies, Trump once again admitted he does not understand how NATO works. He thinks each country pays us 2% of their GDP or pays into some sort of general NATO fund. The face he is such an ignorant clown is disqualifying in its own right.
