Truck Accessories "Cap / Shell " or "Bed Cover" ?

In the process of outfitting my Tundra with either a bed cover or "Shell". Im leaning towards the shell at this time.

Anyone gone this route and regreted it? I'm currently looking at the SmartCap product line.

I had the Bakflip cover on a prevoius truck and was kid of "meh".
