Not Auburn related at all, but the 2006 National Championship game was on WatchESPN and it had me thinking, which loss would be tougher to get over if you are Pete Carroll, the 2006 National Championship or the 2015 Super Bowl? Ignore the fact that he would've been stripped of the 2006 National Title due to Reggie Bush since hindsight is 20/20. Both were great games, and he was on the wrong end of some critical late game play calls in both as well (getting stuffed on 4th and 1 and then VY scoring on 4th and 5 in 06 and calling a pass getting picked off at the 1 in the SB). Which would you have a tougher time getting over, missing out on back to back SB titles or having a 34 game winning streak end as well as missing out on the 3 peat in college football?
