His decision to return for the 2023 season was a seismic development for the Auburn defense.

James is a terrific cover corner who’s also a willing conspirator against the run game. He needs to add a little straight-line speed and better performance against the truly elite wideouts to jump into the top three rounds of the NFL draft. I think he can get there.
