well I could not figure out how to load a link so the recipe I use is a revised edition Paula Deen's tomato pie recipe.
I put my sliced maters on a couple on several layers of paper towels and salt heavy an cover with paper towels this draws more moisture than the collinder, I also lightly flour my maters on both sides. you can use multiple different veggies and herbs in this, and I precook 1/2# of bacon that I crumble use instead of ham. don't be scared to use what ever cheese you like or a mixture of several it will be good. I double layer all ingredients. AUsome recipe.
