We're back for another week!

LIST OF AFFILIATES AND LINKS

PREDICTION:
Tough week, but I love the way they have responded. They got back to work. They know Missouri is going to be a major challenge, so it's time to bring your lunchbox and hard hat and get to work. Just get a little better each day. And stay off the damn elevator. We take the stairs around here. Grow a pair.

FIRST UP IS NICK CLINARD, MEN'S GOLF CZAR.

...

BRYAN HARSIN IS LATE HERE. HE ALLEGEDLY IS STUCK IN TRAFFIC.

Away we go.

Harsin said Tank Bigsby gave the entire team some BEATS® headphones. (Sounds expensive.)

Andy says something about these coaches being familiar with each other. Harsin talks about Eliah Drinkwitz and a few others on the MU staff that he's worked with before. "There is a connection there. I'm very proud of those guys."

Andy wants to know about the QB situation. No question asked. "The one thing ... we talk about guys who have season-ending injuries ... but we don't talk about every injury." (Man, what?)

"It's not to our advantage to have those conversations and give that information out."

(Nobody has mentioned Zach Calzada's name.)

He says we need to respect that he's keeping this secret ... whether it's Robby Ashford or Holden Geriner.

"I don't do the medical work on our players. We have a medical team for that." (We had no idea that Harsin wasn't a practicing physician.)

COMMERCIAL BREAK — WHAT TF WAS THAT?

Harsin says MU's star wideout, Luther, is a stud.

"They played a really good Kansas State team and didn't do much. Overall ... they're creative. Overall, their front is going to be really, really good. We have to make those guys tackle us in space."

Juli/Julie wants to know about Harsin's positioning along the sideline. She says he stands behind the offense. "When I'm behind our offense ... I can see what the defense is doing. When our defense is out there, I'm trying to stay out of the way ... and I'm watching their offense. Ultimately, I'm around those officials late in the game ... if you need a timeout."

HERB is in the house. He says the team's leadership needs to rise up. "That's been an emphasis for a while. I am seeing that. We are starting SEC play. Our goal is to win that conference. Our leadership ... they understand the task a hand."

Andy notes that Eku Leota is an honorary captain this week. The guy DESERVES it; he's been good. "He's really got a great mentality."

Harsin then talks about how he likes all the players.

Not Andy wants to know if Harsin watches what other teams have done to mess with Mizzou. "Every team that you play, you watch the opponent they played and see what they did well. Is that something you can take advantage of? There are one-hit wonders out there."

COMMERCIAL BREAK

BUSTER wants to know about Landen King. "He's been out there. He's had plays where we tried to target him. He's getting more and more reps. Look for him on special teams. As far as offensively, he's been the first read ... we haven't gotten to him. He's got a pretty sizable package we're going to have for him this week."

Not Andy says Matt from Jacksonville, Ala., wants to know how Harsin plans to cut down on penalties. "Besides conditioning ... GUFFAWS ALL AROUND ... it all comes down to the ball, you've got to take care of it. (Harsin somehow gets into turnover margin for no discernible reason.) The emphasis is taking care of the football. On defense, we have to find ways to get it."

Not Andy notes that Auburn had more first downs against Penn State than in the early games ... NOT ANDY STOP THIS FUNNY BUSINESS ... "You're right ... there's some really positive things. But at the end of the day, it's about the scoreboard. We've just got to go out there and get it done."

He says the plan Saturday is: "Wake up, eat, get that suit on and play."

Andy says the crowd was great last week. "That's got to continue. That's making an impact (in recruiting). That's going to make a difference for our future."

Harsin signs off with an enthusiastic WAR EAGLE.

BE GOOD. BE YOU.
