1. It's my busy season.
2. School starts back and I take my kids to school. This Tuesday it starts.
3. My kids start all their activities. 9 year old daughter is taking pottery. 5 year old son is starting baseball up again. 4 year old daughter is starting soccer up again.
4. I start planning my companies budget for next year.
5. I try to plan all this around Auburn football games.
6. I usually plan a vacation in October because late fall is when my busy season finally slows and I take my family somewhere special. Because my kids are still young, it's Disney World. One day it'll be something I can enjoy more, but for now I'll live through the magic in their eyes.
7. I'm deciding what to do with my elderly mother who is also extremely mentally ill....... bipolar and codependent with a borderline personality disorder.
8. Continuing to develope a succession plan for my 73 year old father who somehow has the body of Rambo and can still out physical me. I'm gonna have to back this plan up to 80 and I'm actually happy about that. More than glad to keep him busy in our company. He can still pull 60 hours a week when he wants. Never met anyone like him. I won't be able to do what he does at his age. It's pretty incredible. I guess the biggest part is deciding how to renegotiate roles in the company. It's 50/50 now and I'd like to give him semi-retirement but I don't think he wants it. He wants to work. So......
