So far this team has only played on the road, outside of cupcake games. We've only seen them play good competition on the road. Haven't seen what this team can do at home against good competition yet.
It wouldn't surprise me if the team goes 1-3 on the road vs SEC. Vandy should be a win, but LSU and Arky will both be very tough places for Auburn to win right now.
The defense is very good. I think Auburn will be able to run the ball and play defense better at home. I'm personally looking forward to seeing the defense play in Jordan-Hare in big time SEC games. The QB's should be more comfortable at home, but I'm not trying to pretend they're good. Just think they'll suck less at least. Maybe complete some of those wide open throws, or at least attempt to throw them.
3 out of the 4 home games are very winnable. bama, ole miss, miss state are all winnable. Uga probably isn't frankly, they're just too good. I except to win 2 of them.
I think 7 wins is likely overall. Which is typical for year 1 after firing an atrocity of a HC.
