Now if we hadn’t answered the bell I would feel completely different. But we showed our grit the last 7 minutes.
Difference in game was free throws(25-27 vs 13-22), Haad going 0-8, and not hitting some big shots at the end. Chad, Denver and Miles went 0-3 on 3 good looks from 3. Also, cmo’s minutes were ****ing horrible.
What I loved was our fire the last 7 minutes of the game. We played hard and well. We defended without fouling and got stops. We can take that into the tourney.
This may be a good thing for us in the long run. We’re not broken. Haad will never go 0-8 again. Get some rest and focus and buy in on defense and every possession matters. Time for them to lean on each other and get ready for an epic run.
