He’s always been a zone guy, and hates gap game. Gus is a gap scheme genius and that is why we need him involved in the offense. Chip is creative in the throw game, so I guess we just need to throw it three out of every four plays, and figure out the run game next week. Chip just runs zone just so he can say he ran the ball. Reminds me of a Tony franklin running game.
Defense of Lee, I have always hated the way steel just plays man 95% of the time, but we somehow can’t get pressure on the quarterback in zone today. We have got to start running more zone defense and find a way to get pressure on the quarterback. Look for us to throw 75% of the time and try to trick them with motions when we run it. ( or we could actually give our young offense of line a chance and running backs a chance with gap’s game plays )Defensively I expect to see more zone then we were in the first half.
