So the owner says he has no problem with gay people coming to his place and eating a pizza but he does not want to cater a gay wedding.

The first is a sign of no discrimination. The second is an act of discretion that every American of every stripe should be free to use without the threat of being harassed into closing. Especially when it was an answer to a hypothetical question and didn't even actually happen.

Tolerance works both ways. If a gay person walks into a bakery to buy a cupcake he or she should be served but he or she should not be able to force that same baker to make a cake for his or her wedding.

People in business, including people on this board make decisions every week on who they will serve, represent, or help based on a wide variety of parameters. It's called liberty.
