... In setting expectations. That is what is so hard but it's everywhere if one cares to look. Arkansas, USC, Texas. Folks need to hit the reset button IMO. The team that crushed us yesterday is essentially the same team we crushed last year at home (Harris, fournette, beckwith, vadal Alexander, boutte, dural, tawshan bower). Our team's confidence comes from our offense as it did last year. Last year we found a playmaker at QB, and this year we don't have it-yet.
Gus will get better and so will our recruiting on d- no doubt. IMO, we would be wise to be a source of stability BECUASE there is some probability of some relative unstableness in Tuscaloosa and if we are smart, we will be the beneficiary.
It's not where I was expecting to be but there is such a fine line at this level. The cooler heads will prevail and I hope we find our mojo on O and get some folks back on D. Finally, this is a must win game and will tell a lot about our team both coaches and players. For that reason I'm really looking forward to it.
