The Little Things

I'm really proud of the team tonight, they played a good game, fought hard, and came close to a W. We just didn't have an answer for #3. Maybe that's on Bruce, hard to say when someone is so talented, but maybe a box and one or anything other than what we did. The zone was disastrous. I would have run every offensive play through Knecht until he had 4 fouls. Now to the little things. We play hard but sometimes we don't do what we need to do. CBM standing and not finding his man to box out, Tre letting a 5'9" guard make him run the offense from half court, or Denver cutting under a pick instead of over the top. I know it's easier said than done, but the little things are what make a team go to the next level. Tennessee didn't have what it takes tonight, they just had a stud no one could cover. We lost a chance at the title tonight, but I'm not mad like I usually am. We played a good game and 84 on the road should have been enough to win. I'd rather Barnes get it than the fighting math teachers. I love our guys effort and for that, they get my respect. WDE
