The 1984 presidential election was the forst in which I ever voted and I've voted in every election since.in those 36 years, I've never seen anything like today.
I vote at Valleydale Baptist Church in north Shelby County, AL. I’ve never voted here where I had to line up outside the building.
This morning when I arrived (about 8:30) the line was easily 1/4 mile long. At least 1 1/2 Hour wait. I decided to go on to my office and come back mid afternoon. This afternoon the line is twice as long.
There is speculation that Alabama will have 75%+ turnout today. That’s amazing.
Cast a vote today. Today is one of the greatest days to be an American. I’ve voted for winners and for losers. I have no idea how today will go but being part of the process of the seating of power in a free country is cool.
