Good: Nice to see P Barber take advantage of his chance. He ran hard and smart. Note: CBS ran a graphic that said Auburn is #1 in the SEC over the past 2 years riding mostly one RB. Every other team in the SEC spreads the carries among its RBs more than AU.

Bad: There were at least 4 plays where the instant Louisville took the snap and began a sweep it was clear it was going to be a big gainer. Once the RB got outside the DE it was clear sailing for 15 yds.

Good: On one play Jeffrey Holland rushed the QB and almost got him. The QB slipped away and scrambled 15 yds downfield where he was tackled by…..Holland, who'd gotten up, run downfield, then tackled the QB from behind. Great hustle.

Bad: Jeremy Johnson's decison-making. I know everyone has commented on it, but geez, he had 4 passes that were as bad as I've ever seen. Say he was nervous, say he was pressing, but he's in his 3rd season. Saturday's game was a season full of dunderheaded passes. Here's hoping he turns that around.

Good: Our DBs must have had some good coverage because some of our sacks and chasing the QB out of the pocket were because he couldn't find anyone open.

Bad: In our second to last offensive series, where we just had to burn clock, we ran, threw an incomplete pass, then threw another incomplete pass. The 3 plays used exactly 50 seconds. Just because the other team knows we want to run doesn't mean we can't; they typically stack the middle, leaving a chance for a sweep. Stopping the clock after 2 of the 3 plays is just not acceptable.

Good: Carlson hits from 56!

Bad: our jet sweep was out of sync the whole night. Ricardo continually had to slow down or speed up to avoid running into the snapped ball.

Good: when Lawson was in there he was a force!

Bad: It was a win and we'll take it, and yet we can't ignore the fact that Louisville ran for more yards, passed for more yards, had more time of possession, and had fewer penalties. About the only thing we did better than Louisville was run fumbles back 80 yards for a TD.

Good: In watching the game I sometimes replayed a defensive play in slow motion to see which of our DLs got off the line the quickest. Virtually every time it was M Adams. He's good!

Good: Good to see Jason Smith catch a pass for a long TD…even though it was called back. He's going to be a weapon.

Good: Cool to see Chandler Cox start as a true freshman. Hope he has about 50 more starts in him.
