Something that still dissapoints me is AU passing on current KY LB Josh Allen. He was desperate to play at AU, but never got the chance. (he played high school ball in my hometown at a 3A school) Strings were pulled. Many calls made. AU turned him down. Now as a senior outside linebacker at Kentucky, this great kid is one good season away from a probable first round draft pick. Talk about the fish that got away. It is one thing to miss on a guy, but to have one begging to play for you that met all the criteria and say thanks but no thanks. Wow. Here's wishing him all the luck and deserved accolades this season.
