Looking back, I thought 2014 was a very good recruiting class. Especially for defensive backs.
That DB class included Bessent, Boston, Moncreif, Roberts, Ruffin and Turner.
Mostly four stars. Some that had originally committed to Alabama. But overall one of the strengths of that class.
But only one - Ruffin - is in the two deep depth chart recently announced. Three no longer at Auburn. Roberts moved aroun from Safety, to Corner back to Safety.
Still a young group.
But true freshmen 2015 DBs moving ahead in depth chart.
I believe it was not the talent but more about the coaching - Harbison , Smith and defensive schemes - that set this group back.
