Obliterating Ole Miss is just what we needed going into the brutal stretch run. First 12 minutes were as good as we can play on offense. Ole Miss is a very good team with an elite coach though so no one should be surprised they didn't roll over and die. This is a game of runs and Ole Miss made a big one to get back in the game. Credit to our guys for keeping their composure while taking Ole Miss's best punch. Second half was a master class in keeping up relentless pressure on both ends of the court. Kept the lead in double digits until Ole Miss finally ran out of gas and turned it into our most impressive blowout of the year. KenPom had this as an 82-70 game so hanging 106 on them makes this the magnum opus of the greatest offense in the history of this sport. KP offensive rating went up by 1.1 to 130.7 to put us back into the historic territory we have been all year.

Johni with another statement game as makes the case to win NPOY. The last two games are the first since his injury where he looks 100% of very close to it. Just an absolutely dominant and efficient performance as he got nearly every look he wanted. Biggest development might be how locked in he was at the FT line. He can grind teams into the dust playing like this when he is making them pay from the charity stripe.

In typical Chad fashion, he had his best game of the year when he was listed as questionable due to illness. 8/12 from the field with 4/5 from 3 is the kind of game that makes us unstoppable playing along side the best player in the country. Teams have no hope of stopping Johni and CBM gives us a second guy who can completely take over the game. Perfect time for him to have his best game before we enter the closing stretch of the regular season.

Haad didn't have a big scoring night, but he gave us a stellar PG performance with 6 assist to only 1 turnover. The only thing this team is missing is a guard who can consistently rack up elite assist numbers like Haad did tonight. Denver also had a solid night with 3 assists and no TOs. Any game where we get a combined 9 to 1 assist to turnover game from these two will make us extremely difficult to beat. As good as Johni and CBM were tonight, the guard play is the one thing need to consistently see at the level it was tonight.

14-1 one against the greatest league in the history of the sport is nothing short of remarkable. Our guys are now on the precipice of history by winning by far the toughest conference of all time. We could not ask to be in a better position with a 2 game lead and only needing to win 1 of our final 3 to put another banner in the rafters. The last 3 games are the toughest stretch of the year. The performance tonight should give our guys all of the confidence possible to take this run all the way to the regular season finish line next weekend. Tonight also certainly locked up a 1 seed if we had not already done so. 1 more almost certainly secures the top overall seed. This is one of those special seasons that come along periodically. All hail Bruce for making this typc of season far more common than we've ever experienced as Auburn fans.
