The Beach

I used to enjoy going as a kid/teenager but now that I'm in my 40s I just don't care for it anymore. It's exciting for a few hours but I can only sit on the beach for so long before I'm bored. I don't see how people go lay out in one of those chairs for 8+ hours. Then you fight traffic to go eat somewhere that's usually crowded.

Any other vacation suggestions?
