I think we will see one of the most competitive quarterback battles in the southeast. Jeremy Johnson, we all know. is the heir apparent, "the chosen one," and "the best backup quarterback in the nation." But I actually expect there to be a great deal of competition among Johnson, Jason Smith, and Sean White. With Johnson, we could have more of a look a Cam Newton-style/read option rushing attack with Johnson running the midline. Smith, meanwhile, could be more of a Wildcat quarterback and allow us to run the same zone read offense we have ran the past two seasons under Marshall. White, on the other hand, looks the best on film of any Auburn quarterback in a long time. His accuracy is off the charts, and he throws the deep ball as well if not better than Nick Marshall. I am in the Rhett Lashee camp in believing this kid is going to special. I think he could start for just about any program in the country. It is going to be a great spring!
