My nephew we visited in CO bought a Model Y a few months ago. I've sat in a Tesla for Uber but this was my first time being in one on multiple trips.
He has the self driving feature as well (they had a sale ) and that thing is impressive. It gets a little confused when there are deviating paths on the Interstate, but nephew said much of that should be fixed with the next software update.
They have 2-3 service centers/dealerships in the area and lots of charger/superchargers, so having a good infrastructure is definitely helpful. CO also offers $5k towards an EV so my guy got like $12.5k off.
The tech is they key.I agree that Tesla is probably a 60% tech/40% product company. Anyway, it handled the mountains like a champ. Battery was impressive. It was a fun experience.
