It happens in “bad” schools fairly regularly. A middle school near where I grew up had a teacher beat the shit out of a kid and get fired. Even after the kid attacked him.

Zero context in that video. For all we know the teacher was having an affair with the kid's married momma. Probably not the case though. Kid is probably just a punk. That may not be the case either. WE JUST DON'T KNOW DAWG UNTIL WE KNOW DAWG.

Suspension or expulsion and some type of alternative school or detention program. Probably needs some type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Kids like that usually have emotional / mental issues that need professional help and someone caring about them / loving them and supporting them.
The trauma some of these kids have endured is mind blowing.
Doesn’t mean you can go around doing shit like this, but it isn’t happening in a vaccum.
By the time some kids get to high school they’ve seen more dead bodies than people that serve in minor combat zones.
They desensitize themselves to it in order to cope and they lose the sancity of life and the importance of human community.
Again, doesn’t make it ok, but it’s a factor.

All parties were better for it. Well, except for coach. Hasn’t walked right since.
