1) watch film as an entire team on effort plays. Explain to Rudy Ford (and others who noticeably gave up on a play) that effort comes before talent and he no longer has a starting job.

2) give White, Smith, or Wallace the start this weekend. Develop a plan that fits their ability and Miss States weakness.

3) go full pads all week (does it really matter if someone gets hurt). Have a come to Jesus meeting with the OL and have them pledge to be the most physical OL in the country this Saturday.

4) Find a way to start a new path and a new beginning this week. Motivate the damn players. Appoint the most respected leaders on the team who are actually giving effort and have them vow to not have that crap happen again.

5) Any LB who consistently over runs a play or avoids contact will sit on the bench (may be all of our LBs).

6) do something different! Shake it up. Find some toughness again.

I think Malzahn is a terrible motivator, so I doubt any of this happens.
