It was about 78 degrees, but we all roasted. I am burnt to a crisp. Mild weather + full sun + asphalt = red face.
The Thunderbirds were amazing though. I also enjoyed the B-52, MIG 17, The Smoke and Thunder Jet Semi (@AuburnProud), and Scott Francis in the MXS.
The Semi Truck dragster beat a P-51 by 25 yards in a race. The truck started from stand still while the plane was coming in for a flyby. Never seen anything like that.
Scott Francis in the MXS is one of the best pilots I've ever seen. I've never seen someone stall out as long as him. His freefalls were incredible and he looked to be maybe 50 feet at his pull up.
My brother brought his 6 kids and his wife (who is former Air Force) did not think to bring ear protection for her kids. So I'd like to announce that they are starting a school for the deaf at their farm.
Now I'm drinking some Scotch and smoking (Glen Fohdry Double Maturation French Cask and smoking a Caldwell - Lost and Found "2 Deer ****ing" cigar). Gonna pass out now.
Here's the set list from the Air Show.
