Had to come into work at 2:00 am today, so cooked up a special edition AWOB for just one day.
Highlights
1) A poster wondered why John Franklin III is simulating Deshaun Watson for the scout team.
Unfortunately, it's because he was the only option left after Sean White became too fast to be realistic.
2) "Why do millennials make a big production out of asking girls to a dance" wondered the Bunker, a forum of people that follow high school recruiting commitments and question star rankings.
3) @Scalded Dog just wants to fight somebody and @bprockman is already peeing his pants about it
4) Georgia fans are delusional about their confidence in their team this year since they'll be relying on unproven talent.
And with that, we feel it's a good time to remind you of our annual message: Auburn's unproven talent is much better than anyone else's unproven talent.
5) We now have to add David Pollack to the infinite list of analysts that we hate.
Until he says that Auburn is a sleeper in the West. Then he's insightful again.
6) Auburn fans are unhappy with Jay Jacobs ruining the Gameday experience by the commercialization of tailgating.
After all, we're Auburn men and women, and we deserve to tear up landscaping any way we see fit.
7) Herb Hand will be coaching in the box this year, so now we finally have a trustworthy set of eyes to tell Rhett where the safeties are so Rhett can tell Gus where the safeties are.
Now if they can just watch the safeties off the field.
8) Bobby Petrino is a bad coach because He's 0-1 against Gus and Dan Mullen is a bad coach because he's 2-1 against Gus.
In other words, to be a good coach, don't win or lose against Gus.
9) Auburn fans are being instructed to participate in an "Orange-out", presumably to hide the Clemson fans in attendance. This foolproof strategy is already working: Deshaun Watson was quoted yesterday as saying he doesnt think he can perform well without being able to clearly pick out his fans in the crowd.
10) Who will be the first poster to complain on Saturday? Several were nominated, but it seems everyone came to a final consensus:
