It's nigh impossible for us to beat UK, but face it...it was harder for us to win the three we just won than it would be for us to somehow piece together a win vs. UK.
UK already has their No. 1 seed locked up and they know it, no matter what Cal tells them to motivate them.
They'll have a huge crowd to support them.
It will be easy for them to lounge around in this game. Maybe they will.
Maybe they let us hang around, and hang around, and then when they decide to turn it on, it doesn't happen. It's a failing of many frontrunner types...one day you try to start the engine and it just doesn't roll over.
Maybe that day is today.
I DO THINK WE'RE PLAYING FOR A POSTSEASON BID TODAY. We have to win the SECT to go to the NCAAT, but beating UK would virtually guarantee that the storybook ending for the Auburn Tigers won't be in Nashville. Someone will take a shot on a trending national team that plays its heart out.
