I cant find the article from back then but at the Allstar game I remember someone writing about how White wasnt necessarily the best guy when they would go through drills or practice but when the 7 on 7 or game lights came on he would just tear it up. Said this about Elite 11 and the UA game.

Would this make since on why he might have gotten overlooked at practice?

Also Kyle Allen got over looked by a even more overhyped QB last year (mainly cause of a dismantling of a bad USC team).

Theory:

- The plan was to get Sean a ton of second half work vs JSU once they built a big lead. That didnt happen and by the time they wanted to do it the world had tuned in and it was more important to run the ball and win by one point then switch QBs and end up losing some how. (a loss there would have been unfixable from a season stand point)

So now you are going into LSU on the road and that is also the last place to make a QB change. Look at Brandon Harris after we destroyed them last year just wasnt the same and it took an off season to get ot where he is now and he has Fornette to take the pressure off too.

So now you have Miss State (who is rebuilding a defense, and more importantly a secondary) at home.

This is the first real opportunity since half time of the JSU game that you can make the switch and even then it was a bit early.

TAMU went through the same deal last year. It worked out for them. Hopefully it works out for us.
