New employer boasts a $500 deductible because they have a $4500 GAP coverage. The regular individual deductible is $5000.
Does the $4500 just act as a free buffer and then when you hit that you go back to the $5000 and start over.
Lets say:
I use up $4500 worth of my GAP coverage and then have to go to hospital, do I start at $5,000 before any other health insurance kicks in?
