There are some big decisions coming up that Auburn's involved in.
TJ Lindsey is announcing his decision Saturday and we continue to hear good things about Auburn's chances. It's between AU, Miami, Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama, but if I had to put in a prediction, I'm leaning toward Auburn right now.
There's an ongoing battle for five-star Kamarion Franklin between Auburn, Tennessee, Miami and Ole Miss, although it's sounding like this may come down to AU-TENN. Originally, Franklin was planning to decide in mid-September, but it's sounding like a decision could come as soon as late this month. Hearing that AU is trending up with Franklin...it's gonna be a battle though so we'll see how it plays out.
Another note is on the situation at safety, where there are two five-stars Auburn is targeting. KJ Bolden committed to Florida State last week, but I don't consider this one close to over.
Meanwhile, Zaquan Patterson is expected to commit later this month between Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Miami and Florida State. He's set to announce August 22 and AU appears to be in a fairly good spot. However, this battle will continue through the fall as he takes all of his official visits.
