A few years ago, a friend from RebelGrove.com won a Bruce Pearl-signed basketball and a goody basket at a silent auction. The event was raising money for the Small Cell Ovarian Cancer Foundation in memory of Bailey Purkey, an Ole Miss student who died of this insidious disease in 2020. He didn't really want the Auburn stuff, but he wanted to help the cause. He won. So he sent it to me.
I told him that I'd wait for the right time to offer the ball and the goody basket for sale.
I think that time is now.
So here's what I want to do:
• Y'all can bid in this thread.
• Winner sends to the SCOCF the amount of the winning bid. Send me a screen shot of that donation. Then:
• I send the ball and goodies to you.
If you have any questions, I'm glad to answer them.
