According to the LSU sit on toos, his agent is trying to get the NFL to allow him to pull out and enter the Supplemental Draft. The BRPD has named him as a person of interest in last Friday nights murder of his pregnant ex girlfriend. She apparently answered the door for someone she knew at which point she was shot point blank. Luckily the baby was saved.
The BRPD want him to come in and talk them and Collins told them he'd come in Monday. If I was him, I'd have went asap to clear my name before the draft. They knew the PD wanted to talk to him on Sunday. I would have been there Sunday night answering every question they asked. Now folks are saying he may not even get drafted at all because who knows what will happen come Monday. He was project early first round. If he had is innocent and knows there is no way they can link him to the crime, he cost himself millions by putting it off until next Monday.
EDIT: Just reported on CBS that the Monday meeting between Collins and BRPD was suggested by BRPD because they are not ready to begin their questioning yet.
Why in the hell would the hold a presser saying he was wanted for questioning right before the draft if they weren't ready to question him? He should be able to sue the phuq out of them for the millions he's going to lose because of their presser.
