This could be good for us for more than one reason:
1) Florida becomes the top opening in the SEC. Alabama has to compete with them, and they'll lose.
2) Pearl ascends to the second most accomplished coach in the SEC.
3) One of the better, most consistent programs in recent SEC history takes a step back and has to re-tool.
I highly doubt Pearl would be a candidate--you have to think Shaka Smart would be at the top of their list, though maybe they go after Marshall. I see no downside from the Auburn perspective.
