I am interested in refinancing my mortgage. I think it's premature since I expect with incoming rate cuts better deals are in the future. however, I've never done this before and I want to get the best deal. granted, I can afford my current mortgage, it's fine. so I am not in a rush to refinance. but I want to really secure the best deal I can.
what's the best way to go about doing this? just calling banks and lenders? playing them off of one another?
