Everyone knows about what Auburn has done for the kids from Chicago. This will forever change the lives of the kids and their families. So, it got me thinking about things I have done personally to helps someone out or go do something special.

Last year a poster on the bunker posted a story about his nephew having leukemia and was asking for donations. Of course, some questioned the person if it was true or not. I felt moved to contribute to the child. After donating, I felt it was enough. So, I found out more about the child and actually drove to B-ham to visit the child and took the kid a bunch of Auburn items. I spent time with the child and his father. It was my first time doing something like this. It forever changed me in a good way. During my visit, the child didn't have much strength and was very weak. Later on that day, the child went through my gifts I took and his dad sent me a picture of him smiling from ear to ear. It shows just the simple things can bring happiness to others. Also, I have made a few new friends because of this one things.

There usually a lot of negative, crazy stuff on the board and some nuts for sure but I know there some great Auburn people too. Share your story.
