So I just opened my newly received bottle. Dusty oak on the nose, with vanilla and spicy notes on the palate. The oak also comes through strongly with good balance. Long spicy finish with good depth from the wine barrels.
Dave Phinney has done it again. This is a stunner at $38/btl - highly recommended. Mash bill is 95% corn, 4% rye, 1% malted barley.
