** Starts out talking about signing a new contract and his players. He wanted an SEC non-compete to bring stability to the Arkansas program and let fans know they can believe in him. Bumper Pool should become Arkansas' all-time leading tackler this season if he remains healthy.
** Led Power 5 in rushing last year. Want to be physical and dominant up front.
** Said it's the third year in a row they're going to have the toughest schedule in college football? Come play Auburn's schedule MF.
** Jokes that he's trying to make Missouri a rivalry game but hasn't won enough to do that yet. He's going through his schedule now. Zzzzzzzzz
** Arkansas has developed a tough home game atmosphere because of the passion of their fans.
** Lost a lot of players off defense but brought in some portal guys to help and have some players coming up. Barry Odom is a key part of success. Helps with head coaching responsibilities. Very loyal person.
** Can't replace Treylon Burks, have to do it by committee. Got two portal receivers, got some good players coming up and signed some talented freshman that may be able to help. We look and run like a WR group.
** Backup QB Malik Hornsby is a great athlete and needs to be on the field. Could play WR this fall.
** Great time to be a Hawg. Talks about success in basketball, baseball, softball, track, etc.
** Asked if Arkansas has arrived? No, no, no. Arkansas is trying to compete, work hard. We're the underdog and we like it that way.
** Would like to have Oklahoma and Texas as permanent rivals along with Missouri. "That would be really neat."
** Talking about a Hawg statue he has at his home, which replaced a marlin that was knocked over in a storm. Need to google a pic of this...
** Wants to have core values of out-working people and being toughest team in college football.
** Needed pass rushers for this season. Brought in some guys and got Dorian Gerald coming back. Cornerbacks are better, which will allow us to play more man and help us rush the passer. Overall, will be much better on the DL than a year ago.
