He said White hasn't been getting a lot of first-team reps until Sunday. "He's comfortable with the receivers," Malzahn said.
"He's a guy who can flat-out throw it. He has that air of confidence that ... quarterbacks have."
He doesn't regret holding White out of the LSU. Says he wanted to avoid making "an emotional decision" on the field like that.
"When you look at things and get emotion out, that's the way we need to go."
