No news is news in recruiting, and with Auburn basketball recruiting, there isn't anything new.

Basketball's early signing period begins Wednesday, and nothing has changed from Friday's HOOPS SCOOPS. Auburn expects to sign its three commitments and call it a day. The lone possible addition, Auburn High's Garrison Brooks, is expected to sign with North Carolina.

Auburn's class of five-star center Austin Wiley, four-star point guard Davion Mitchell and four-star forward Chuma Okeke is ranked No. 2 in the country, but will fall tomorrow as teams add commitments/signees. Washington, which is ranked No. 3, projects to move to No. 2 behind Arizona when the rankings are updated.

How far Auburn falls in the rankings remains to be seen. Rivals.com national basketball analyst Eric Bossi believes Auburn finishes with a top-10 class, possibly around No. 7.

"Auburn fans should be really excited about this class, that as of Signing Day features three of the five highest-ranked commits in the SEC," Bossi said. "How other programs finish out the period could shake things up, but Auburn begins Signing Day at No. 3 in the 2017 team recruiting rankings."

Wiley, Mitchell and Okeke will rank as Auburn's best recruiting class in the Rivals.com era.
