Auburn will hold an Elite Basketball Camp on Sunday with the focus being on underclassmen. It isn't expected to be a large group, but one that includes a few top targets and commitments in the 2017-2020 classes. Here are a few players I've confirmed will attend. I'll add more names when I can confirm.
2017 Class
4-star PG Davion Mitchell, Hinesville, Ga. (Liberty County) - AU commit
4-star PF Chuma Okeke, Atlanta, Ga. (Westlake) - AU commit
2018 Class
4-star SG Diante Wood, Anniston, Ala. (Sacred Heart) - No. 1 player in the state in 2018, according to HoopSeen
4-star PF Trey Jemison, Homewood, Ala. - No. 2 player in the state in 2018, according to HoopSeen
NOTES
* Cordova forward Isaac Chatman is another top in-state player in 2018. Auburn offered him early, but is not heavily recruiting him at this time. Chatman is not expected to attend Sunday's camp.
* Auburn High senior PF Garrison Brooks is visiting Arizona State this weekend. So is Pelham's Alex Reese, who no longer is considering Auburn.
* Thomasville (Ga.) junior four-star PF Reggie Perry visited Auburn today, but did not stay for the camp.
* Point guard Ashton Hagans of Newton (Covington, Ga.) and Mountain Brook forward Trendon Watford, Class of 2019 recruits, both have been offered by Auburn, but aren't expected to be on campus Sunday.
I'll update the camp list when available.
