Pearl works the refs all game, every game and gets more than his share of calls, while mw doesn't say squat. The refs are always going to try to shut up the loudmouth and ignore the beta. It may backfire on rare occassion for some coaches but Pearl has been doing this for a long time and is at home.

He actually tries to spin the no-call on Cambridge -- both in the title and body -- into a pivotal play and backbreaker, even though UF still scored a bucket on that same possession after the no-call (which worked out better for them since there's no guarantee they would've converted both would-be free throw attempts).
