And you gullible morons in the circle jerk bought it hook, line, and sinker. Perfect example of TDS and not caring about whether it was true, but only whether it was useful. Perfect for you propaganda hacks. All the Russians wanted was confusion in the US and division. And you assholes have certainly played your part to the fullest.

BREAKING NEWS: THE PRIMARY SOURCE FOR THE STEELE DOSSIER WAS DEEMED A POSSIBLE NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT AND WAS THE SUBJECT OF A 2009-2011 FBI INVESTIGATION FOR CONTACT WITH RUSSIAN AGENTS
by Kevin Ryan

The primary source for the so-called Steel dossier was deemed a possible “national security threat” and was the subject of an FBI counter-intel probe from 2009 to 2011 for suspected contact with Russian intelligence officers. The FBI even initiated the process for applying for a wiretap on the source, identified elsewhere as Igor Danchenko, in July 2010, but dropped the issue after the source left the country in September 2010.

Those facts were known during the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, which nonetheless used the info provided by the source to further its investigation of Trump.

The revelation will increase concerns that Russian disinformation was fed to Steele, which in turn was used to justify the investigation of the Trump campaign that became one of the biggest political investigations in U.S. history.

“This is the most stunning and damning revelation the committee has uncovered,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said in a statement.

Graham received the new information as part of his committee’s review into the origins of the Russia probe.

“A footnote in the Inspector General's report contains information, which up till now has been classified and redacted, bearing on the reliability of the Steele dossier,” Attorney General Bill Barr wrote in a letter today to Senator Graham.

Ex-British intelligence agent Christopher Steele authored and compiled the anti-Trump dossier on behalf of Fusion GPS, which was hired to conduct opposition research funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign. The dossier contains claims about alleged ties between Donald Trump and Russia that served as the basis for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants obtained against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
