One of the nicest men you would ever want to meet. I was lucky enough to meet him at the Pro-Am at the then Bruno's tournament a number of years ago. I guess it was the mid 90's because Tot and Daddy Bowden were playing in it. My friend and I had just followed Barkley and his group, which included Michael Jordan, around the front side of Graystone. We hung around the putting green a while until Tater Tot and his group came along. Chi Chi was putting some and there wasn't anybody else around watching but us and he came over and talked with us probably 15-20 minutes. About anything but golf. Where we were from and if we had ever been to Puerto Rico. Just a really nice man who went out of his way to talk to two strangers. Things like that stick with you over the years. Hated to read where he passed away today.
