The truth is that Auburn consistently made the right decision to move on from coaches when it was necessary.
The idea that Auburn can't fire another coach is simply false. Harsin damn sure deserved to be fired just as much as Jeffrey Lee deserved to be thrown into a trash can at the Supper Club. Chiz lost control of his team and put up a 3-9 season. You don't get the chance to come back from that.
The biggest factor is confidence in the coach. Gus was a great guy, but we had lost all confidence that he could take the program beyond where it was at. Tubs was basically in the same situation.
How does HUGH keep from losing confidence? Don't punt games. Don't stop recruiting. Don't lose your team.
