On June 9, 2023, at 1:30 AM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to the Shell Station, 1114 Rucker Blvd, on a call for shots fired and possible robbery in progress. Responding Officers discovered the suspect had been involved in an altercation with the store clerk and fired a shot at the clerk before fleeing the scene. A short time after the call, EPD Officers located the suspect driving on Adams Street. The suspect refused to stop and Officers initiated a vehicle pursuit. After a brief pursuit, the suspect lost control of his vehicle and crashed in an empty residential lot. The suspect, Raven Gray, was taken into custody without further incident. Raven Jamall Gray, age 36, of Enterprise, AL was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Burglary 1st, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana 1st, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Eluding Officers. Gray was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
