** Still looking at MRI of Josh Holsey. "Doesn't look good right now. Coach will have more on that."
** Expecting all of the injured players back. Tray Matthews and Carl Lawson expected back.
** Justin Garrett strained quad early in game. Should be back.
** Knew there would be some growing pains with young guys. They made some plays late in game.
** Rudy Ford makes a lot of plays, tremendous speed. One of bright spots on defense. Has improved his reaction time with experience. "Things you can't coach that he can do because of his speed."
** Pleased with red zone D in first two games. Run game issues in 2nd half, gap control, eye control. Will get those things corrected.
** Leonard Fournette a great player, the kind you like to compete against.
** Cassanova McKinzy was very productive. Made a huge play on 3rd down. Needs to clean some things up on eye control.
** Going into game felt like JSU QB was better than some they would face in our league.
** Everybody QB they face is a guy that can move around a bit.
** Recalls pass that beat Auburn in 2007 (I think). Said Jerraud was in position, they just made a play.
** Montravius Adams played extremely well. Need him to play well in Baton Rouge.
** Maurice Swain and Devaroe Lawrence will have to give them more snaps at LSU, going to be a hot day. Same with Byron Cowart, Gimel President.
** Lots of things that are correctable on game film. Some of it is youth, some is inexperience. Have enough players to have a good defense. Not enough consistency yet but feels like it will happen.
** LSU's WR's are extremely talented. LSU creates 1-on-1's on outside because you need extra men to stop running game.
** On slowing down running game: Players need to play better within scheme and system, execute call. If they do that, they'll be fine. Some players aren't doing that right now and they can't win that way. Need to be a more disciplined group.
