** Practice has been good this week. Locked in.
** Lack of explosive plays has been biggest issue for offense. May be the worst two-game stretch since they've been here.
** Lack of explosive plays: Sometimes it's execution, sometimes it's how they play. Need better balance between run/pass. Got to run better in first half.
** We really believe in Jeremy Johnson. "He's going to be a great player." He threw it away last week. When the game was on the line and the pressure was on, he led team to a touchdown.
** Talked about effort of WR's. Need to rotate more so one guy is not playing 70 plays. Need to keep them fresh.
** Jovon Robinson is having a good week of practice.
** Want to get Jason Smith more involved in offense.
** Avery Young has practiced well this week and looked good. Expects him to play.
** Felt like Jeremy Johnson had one poor decision last week on the first interception. Johnson is not getting away with any of his bad decisions.
** Have a better idea of the identity of this offense. Really good plan to move forward.
** Shon Coleman is playing really well, leading team in knockdowns.
** Duke Williams is practicing well and is focused. Targeted him plenty of times last game. Has not talked to him about playing homestate this week.
** In the two games they've played, Peyton Barber has showed great toughness.
** Typical LSU defense, can really run. Really talented cornerbacks. Could be best LB corps in the league. Two big guys upfront and some long ends that can rush the passer. "We'll have to play really well."
** Can take positives from last week: Found a way to win in pressure situation, didn't hang heads, didn't quit.
