** Young said he's about 305 pounds now. Dropped a little to give him more quickness on the edge. Wants to stay in the 300's.

** He likes to run the power but can do the read option. His strength is as a pocket passer.

** It was "tough" the last two seasons as a backup but he "looks at it as a humbling experience." He's looking to win the starting job and being the man this season.
** Tony Stevens, Marcus Davis and Myron Burton did well today. Stevens is still maturing but he's 6-4 and can run, catch and make plays. "Now that his time is here, he's going to do big things for us."
